In a well written paragraph, tell me which character from the Outsiders you would like to be your friend. Use the BOOK with page numbers and paragraph numbers.
If one of the characters could be my friend, it would be Ponyboy. He seems smart and nice. I don't think he should be part of the Greasers or any other gang around. He seems to smart and nice to be in a gang. It may be the only other friends he has, though. Ponyboy, I think, is caring and loyal to his friends and would be the same way if I was his friend. And if he is smart enough to get pushed ahead while still haning out with a whole bunch of highschool dropouts he would be pretty cool to me. I just wish he could hang out in a better plce with a better crowd. That would make him a really good friend. I agree! ~Mrs. Best
Hi jack it is connor s. i loved the paragraph and i liked how you compaired him to your life . i totaly agre with you he is my favorite character to. but there are other characters to that are wasum.love the respose se you later.
Outsiders week two We all know that the fifth commandment is: Thou shall not kill. With that in mind, tell me what you would be feeling AND what you would do
now if you were Johnny at the end of Chapter 4. This relates to what we are talking about in religion. In some instances, this is okay because it would qualify as self-defense But if my friend stabbed a kid and killed him and I was right next to him, it would scare me silly and I might want to get mental help. It might reassure me that it was to save my life. But at that age, killing another kid would be scary and I wouldn't blame them if they ran away. In this situation, I could understand a fist fight coming, but not an insecure boy, who's parents wail on him, stab another kid. He must be a really good friend to Ponyboy to save his life in that way But what would you do then? Don't you think that you would make a completely different decision because of your parents? Family is so important. ~Mrs. Best
Hi Jack it is Jared. I totally agree with your paragraph. It would be scary to know your friend killed someone. I would definatly run away if that happened to me. I would think about what happened, and ask God for forgiveness.
B. Explain what Ponyboy finds out about Randy and the other Socs at the end of Chapter 7.
Ponyboy finds out that the Socs are just the same as him but just have a higher economic status. In God's eyes, we all are created equal, no matter how much money you have. I think this is crazy with the battle between the Socs and the Greasers. Mabye its the Socs showing off their money buy getting stoned and driving fancy cars. Or, mabye its the greasers showing everybody how tough they are. We will never know, but its a big waste of time. I agree with you that it is a waste. More than a waste of time though, it is a waste of hmans. ~Mrs. Best
Hi Jack Its Mic. I totally agree with what you said about all being equal no matter how much money you have. I also think that it is crazy that the Socs think that they are cool just because they have cool cars and a lot of money. Then the greasers think that ehy are cool because th
A. When we get to know people better, we usually like them more. If that's true, what could we do if we really don't like someone?
The only answer I could possibly think of is find out about them more. You can meet with them or say hi and sit down and find out more about them and grow a friendship with them. You can't just push them away all the time of fight with them often. You have to go for the good things and doing the bad things will just make it worse. Be open and friendly. This is the best way to start a good friendship. Very thoughtful and very true. That is exactly how you make new friends. ~Mrs. Best
